Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stint app and website (the “Service”), operated by Stint(“Stint”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be an adult (18 or older) to hold a Stint account. Stint is a tool for coaches; children do not sign in to or use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.

Keep your login credentials secure and let us know promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the content you enter about your team and matches.

You keep ownership of the squad and match information you enter (“your content”). You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process it so we can provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to enter the information you provide, and for using players’ first names or initials only.

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others’ rights when using the Service;
• attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
• disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service or its security;
• upload harmful, abusive, or unlawful content.

Some features require a paid subscription (“Stint Pro”). Purchases made in our iPhone app through the Apple App Store are billed by, and managed under the terms of, Apple — including renewals, cancellations and refunds. Purchases made on the web are billed by our payment processor and managed by us. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; either way you can manage or cancel yours from Account → Subscription. Prices and features may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

Every team has a personal invite link (shown on your dashboard). When a new customer signs up through your link and then starts a free trial or makes their first purchase (“a qualifying referral”), rewards are granted as free Stint Pro time: the referred coach receives 14 extra days of Pro, applied after their trial period, and you receive 21 days of Pro per qualifying referral, up to a lifetime maximum of 180 days (about six months). If you have an active paid subscription, granted time applies after your current paid period ends.

Referral rewards are free service time only: they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and do not create or renew a paid subscription. Rewards are for genuine new customers — referring yourself, creating duplicate or alias accounts, or otherwise gaming the programme voids the associated rewards, and we may withhold or revoke rewards obtained that way. We may change, suspend or end the programme at any time; reward time already granted to your account is honoured.

We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. You can export or delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
